FRCF is appealing to first responders across the country to apply to the Foundations programs, grants and scholarships, including the Foundation’s new Resiliency Program that provides mental and behavioral health support for children of first responders.
First Responders Children’s Foundation has announced that philanthropist MacKenzie Scott has made a generous donation to the national nonprofit that was founded in the aftermath of 9/11 when over 800 children lost a first responder parent. The gift will help further develop the Foundations existing programs that support first responder families nation-wide and help fund the launch of a new mental health program.
First responders will be honored by the top-rated daytime game show, “The Price is Right,” hosted by Drew Carey, on a special primetime broadcast on Wednesday, January 12 (8-9 pm, ET/PT) on CBS. A studio audience of first responders – firefighters, EMTs, 911 operators, police officers and other frontline workers – will compete for amazing prizes including luxury cars, vacations and more.
